Hi, welcome to my website. I’m a life-long animal lover and dogs have my heart! I attended my first dog show when I was 11 years old and I was hooked! I started AKC Junior Showmanship the following year. I have over 30 years of experience working with animals. That experience includes Showing, Training, Temperament Testing, Grooming, Breeding and being a Veterinary Assistant. I am also involved in Canine Health and Wellness research as well as Canine Genetic Reproductive research.

 I hold the following titles: Certified Foster Home, Certified Animal Rescue Transport, and Verified Doobert Animal Transport  Volunteer.

At Apex Puppies, all of our puppies are born and raised in our home. They are not kennel puppies.

We have a full house of people and lots of company especially children, so our puppies get plenty of daily interaction and attention. They play with other dogs of all sizes and cats too.

 

By request only, I do Temperament Testing at 49 days of age using a testing similar to the Vollhardt method.

I believe in starting neurological stimulation from birth to desensitize the puppies and make for a less nervous dog. This is crucial for puppies to achieve a positive role as an adult dog.

 

Our puppies are accustomed to nail trims, ear cleaning and basic grooming. 

We start potty training and crate training at 4 weeks old.

 

My puppies are all examined (nose to tail) by a Veterinarian around 6 weeks of age.

If ready, they can leave at 8-10 weeks old and will have had age appropriate vaccinations and will have been dewormed several times. I also have a 1 year health guarantee/contract on my babies.

 

When I send a puppy to it’s new home, it will come with a gift bag that contains the food it’s used to eating, favorite toys, a blankie that smells like mom and all pertinent paperwork. As I stated earlier, it will have been examined by a Veterinarian, and up to date on vaccines and dewormings.

 

We are located in Judsonia, Arkansas but have puppies from coast to coast. We travel often to offer personal delivery of our babies. We only charge for the cost of fuel.

If we can’t deliver the puppy personally, we can usually enlist a ground transport service. Their services usually run $450+ though. 

 

Just know that if you get a puppy from me, it will be happy, healthy, and well socialized.

I am able to provide references, and of course lifelong breeder support.

We take the time to teach each puppy that the big wide world doesn't have to be a scary place. It helps make for a well-rounded and less nervous dog later on. Of course, each puppy has it's own personality, we can't change that. But we do our best to ensure each puppy leaves us with a confident outlook.
